Information you submit

When you use the website intake, WestSideSite may collect business and contact information you choose to provide, such as a business name, category, description, phone number, email address, city, street address, hours, social links, preferred domain, website preferences and uploaded business photos.

How that information is used

The information is used to generate previews, review a requested website, contact you about the request, operate the resulting website if you approve launch, provide support and maintain the service.

AI writing helper

If you choose to use the optional writing or polishing feature, the text you submit to that feature is sent from WestSideSite's server to Anthropic's API so a draft can be generated or polished. You can skip the AI writing helper and write your own description.

Analytics

WestSideSite uses Google Analytics to understand website usage and marketing performance. Analytics can receive technical and usage information such as browser/device information, pages viewed, referral source and advertising campaign parameters.

Service providers

WestSideSite uses service providers to operate parts of the service, including website hosting/database infrastructure, email delivery, analytics and the optional AI writing helper. Information is shared with those providers only as needed to provide those functions.

Uploaded photos and business information

Do not upload content that you do not have permission to use. Information supplied for a website may become public if you later approve that website for launch.
