Care is included with Guided Design ($29.95/month or $295/year) and is $39.95/month with Custom Design. Bigger changes are quoted separately, and nothing is started without your approval.

Up to 30 minutes per month of minor content edits and corrections. Unused time does not roll over.

What counts as a minor edit?

A minor edit is something a person can do in a few minutes without design or writing work. For Custom Design care, these come out of your 30 minutes each month.

These are real projects, not corrections, so they are quoted before any work starts:

Hosting, your domain and your content.

Care covers hosting your website on WestSideSite. It does not cover your domain name.

You own your domain. Registration and renewal are billed separately at the registrar's actual cost, unless a written agreement says otherwise, and we never purchase or assign one without your approval. You also own the content you provide, such as your logo and photos.

If you cancel: your site stays active through the period you have paid for, then you get a 30-day transition window to take your content with you, where practical

What is a small update?

A quick change that does not need design or writing work: correcting text, updating contact details or hours, replacing an existing image. With Custom Design care, up to 30 minutes of these each month are included.

Do unused minutes roll over?

No. The 30 minutes of minor edits included with Custom Design care are for each month and do not carry forward.

What is not included?

New pages, redesigns, substantial copywriting, significant new sections, online stores, memberships, customer portals, custom applications, major integrations, ongoing SEO or content campaigns, large batches of image or content work, and third-party or domain fees. These are quoted separately.

What happens if I need a major change?

Tell us what you want. We scope it, quote it, and wait for your approval. Nothing is started or billed without it.

Are edits unlimited?

No. Care covers reasonable small updates. With Custom Design care the included time is 30 minutes a month. If requests grow into a regular stream of larger changes, we will talk with you about a quote.

Is my domain name included?

No. You own your domain, and registration and renewal are billed separately at the registrar's actual cost, unless a written agreement says otherwise. Care does not include domain fees, and neither does the Guided plan.

Can I cancel?

If your plan has a fixed term, your site stays active through the period you have paid for. After service ends you get a 30-day transition period to migrate or export your content, where practical. Your domain is yours either way. We do not host a site indefinitely after cancellation. The monthly Guided plan is a 12-month term.

Can I take my website with me?

Where technically practical, we can provide your content and files, your customer-specific content, and a deployable static copy of your customer-facing website. We cannot provide the Admin system, template-generation systems, databases or platform internals, reusable template source, or third-party components that cannot legally transfer. How do I ask for an update?

Email hello@westsidesite.com or use the contact form and say what you want changed. A person reads it, tells you whether it counts as a minor edit, and either makes the change or sends a quote first.

Can I get care for a website I already have somewhere else?

Ask us. We would look at the site first and tell you plainly whether it is something we can look after. Care is built around sites that WestSideSite hosts.

Do you guarantee my site will never go down?

No provider can promise that. We host your site carefully and respond when something goes wrong, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
